If we want to upgrade our left wing (and get younger) then I don’t know why we aren’t in for Diomande. And that’s not based on the WC (I haven’t seen much of it), it’s based on his season at RBL. Maybe he doesn’t have interest in Arsenal, or maybe we just won’t spend 100M on non-PL-proven talent.

A bit like the change of the CL from group stages to the league format, I have noticed that all the hemming and hawing about the size/quality of the World Cup evaporated once action started. Most people, in the end, don’t mind more product, they just like to complain.
