Quite literally so un-fucking-professional behavior from both of them. You never point a firearm of any kind at another individual unless you intend to harm them.
No I did not misword that. Firearms hurt, nothing else, end of story.
This is something I observed in the response to my unfortunate surgery experience 13 years ago: suddenly I became an enemy and excluded from community where I had been embraced for 10+ years because I was undergoing a difficult experience that was deeply uncomfortable to them.
I think back to some of the rejection letters I got from studios after college :
“The quality of your work is not up to the standards of which we need for our team”
Or the seemingly superfluous nitpicking from certain art directors used to excuse not hiring me.
