This Sunday, March 29, our campaign is hosting a free screening of "Ghosts of Adelanto" to discuss a more humane path forward.
Putting ICE in airports is pure intimidation. This is a rogue move that should alarm everyone. We have seen their track record, and now Bannon is signaling what is next. Sending ICE to the polls is a real threat. We must stand together against this state-sponsored fear.
The film takes us inside California’s largest detention facility to share stories of family separation and resilience.
After the screening, I’ll be joined by Gabriel Medina and Athena Burciaga to discuss how we can build a system rooted in accountability and dignity.
We don’t need more "bought and sold" politicians serving special interests.
We need leaders with the courage to stop the wars and bring our tax dollars back home to invest in our own community.
