Really funny looking at ripped PS1 3D models and realizing that none of the Ridge Racer Type 4 cars have like, the underside of them modeled at all. Which makes sense for the tight controlled angles the game is played at it's just one of those fun quirks
At the 1991 CES trade show, Nintendo's booth allowed attendees to stand in front of a green screen, which would then be overlaid over Super Mario World, so they could "be in the game" with Mario. The bad syncing on the overlay gives the resulting footage an extremely amateurish appearance.
They are really leaning into having the cameras in the back of the net in the hopes of the ball knocking one down.
