It’s encouraging to see a packed room for the Autistic People’s Views panel (@drstevenkapp.bsky.social) at #INSAR2026.
I’ll note the majority here are YOUNG autism researchers (not veterans). That’s such an apt commentary on the past/current state of autism research, but also its hopeful future.
New paper alert! In this new mini-review, we discuss recent research on the neural substrates of executive function development in children under three. Enjoy! www.frontiersin.org/journals/dev...
1. London Underground station flooding has reportedly been reduced by around 90% thanks to a group of engineers: beavers.
After conservationists reintroduced a family of beavers into a nearby city park, the animals built dams and restored wetlands that now absorb and slow floodwater naturally.
So proud of our new paper, in @eclinicalmed.bsky.social, reporting on a feasibility study of a new co-produced peer group intervention (created by @ambitiousautism.bsky.social) for supporting wellbeing during the transition to adulthood for autistic young people. #AutRes
