3 levels of consciousness, not 1:
channeled ā roots,
contained ā trunk,
distributivist - flock
Holism: parts & wholes.
We mistake the āIā of the trunk as the only āI,ā
when the āIā shifts up & down depending on circumstances.
There's no unitary āme.ā
Whitman: "I am large, I contain multitudes."

Flock
The birds of the flock appear from the branches (as leaves would), fly away, & return to merge back into the branches: this is the level of ādistributive consciousness,ā where the trunkās āIā am lost, mostly freely, in the unseen realm; like when one connects, reads, works, remembers, etc. 3/4
silent maidservants. Beneath that splendor lies danger. She lures young men with moonlit songs, poetry, and a voice that slips straight into the soul. Her verses are not mere art, but enchantment, and few who follow her ever return unchanged, if they return at all. 2/2

In Chinese folklore, Wang Yuzhen ēēē is no ordinary beauty, but a yaoguai born from a white snake that cultivated for three thousand years. Clad in green robes & red shoes, adorned like nobility, she moves through lonely places with ghostly elegance, followed by 1/2

Trunk
The "meat" space of things one can touch: the level of ācontained consciousness,ā where the āIā resides.
Meditation, reflection, conversation helps me be the āIā in the here & now. Plus, 20 years of therapy also helped āmeā try to be āhere,ā but my consciousness tends to shift up & down. 2/4
My ātree of consciousness.ā
Roots
The lizard brain & socio-cultural & genetic influences & whatever else. Itās the level of āchanneled consciousness,ā where āIā disappear, but not freely:
as in the fight/freeze/flight response,
anxiety & chemical triggers, societal pressures.

Kind hearts are the #gardens,
Kind thoughts are the roots,
Kind words are the blossoms,
Kind deeds are the fruits.
Take care of your garden
And keep out the weeds,
Fill it with sunshine,
Kind words, and kind deeds.
