Memory Monday...Something from a while back... The text is hard to read on the stone, that is part of this field at Major John Buttrick's own farm. It reads " On this field The Minutemen and Militia formed before marching down to the fight at the bridge." It was April 19th 1775...
The bridge was "The Old North Bridge" in Concord. In a few minutes. Someone would fire "the shot heard round the world" supporting an idea that has held up pretty well for 250 years. 8 million of you gathered for "No Kings Day" in different "fields" for very similar reasons.
