He is currently raising two alligators and two crocodiles, and one of his gators apparently likes having her teeth brushed, and so she goes on tours through elementary and middle schools, where kids get to brush her teeth. My middle school experience seems kinda impoverished now?
His is a big reptile family - his son has an 18-foot reticulated python (which, I found out, are much less dense than anacondas of similar size), and his granddaughter, who cannot be more than six, is apparently already raising her own gator and a snake.
Anyway, this interaction was wondrous, and just made my day. I did not realize that you could keep alligators as pets, and I gotta say? Cute! Shoutout to you, Steve, hope you make it to Florida this year!!
