Current legal reality is the maj of those targeted (care workers) are unlikely to qualify without human rights law carrying them to something in the future (if they can make it). Which massively adds to complexity. Also poorer families may never qualify. Perpetual limited status holders.
I'd have to dig around, but I recall somewhere it being hinted that people could renew their status beyond 2028. Gov. not being straightforward about it. However, my take is that it will follow similar mechanics where you have to stay with same sponsor. We have to wait and see.
As your figures show Belfast is a very white city even by UK and Irish standards. A large portion of the non white population are in the health sector or office jobs. This is not a response to mass immigration. There are huge problems in Loyalist areas - many caused by those rioting.
