I sang on this stage with a citywide school choir many years ago (but not the year it opened š). The acoustics in this building are incredible. Little wonder Gordon Lightfoot gave so many performances here.

On this day in 1894, Massey Hall opened.
Built by the Massey family as a venue for the people of Toronto to meet and enjoy music, it has become one of Canada's most prestigious venues. It is now a National Historic Site.
