Once you have desecrated historical moments & institutions how can you ever remove those stains that have now been woven into history?
I think the question is to what degree things will revert to the way they were before, after Trump is gone. Certainly I don’t expect things to ever be like they were, at least not in my lifetime.
The ladies who were here from England love Aperol & left me a small bottle.
But they didn’t love this pre-made cocktail.
I understand why.
It’s like medicine.
And even a dose of Mary Poppins’ sugar wouldn’t help this go down.
Maybe it’s an acquired taste.
Won’t be rushed.
Taking all the time it needs.
