Our updated report takes a unique look at the first cohort of DACA recipients and how their lives have changed over fourteen years, thanks to DACA’s protections and opportunities.
June 15 marks the 14th anniversary of the DACA policy. DACA has proven to be arguably the most successful, popular, and politically resilient immigration policies of our time. Our updated data show the tremendous benefits DACA and Dreamers bring to the U.S. Read more ⤵️
The passing of another DACA anniversary affirms a critical point: The President should live up to his promise that Dreamers would feel safe, and Congress must finally pass permanent legislation to deliver Dreamers the stability they need.
Despite DACA’s tremendous and quantifiable success, the policy faces enormous challenges and restrictions.
Participants highlighted Dreamers’ critical contributions to Nevada’s economy and the urgent need to address work authorization delays and create lasting solutions for workers and employers.
