Earlier this week, Jaime Rangel, @fwd.us Regional Gov’t Relations Dir. & DACA recipient, spoke alongside @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social, @repespaillat.bsky.social, @whipkclark.bsky.social, @sylviagarcia.house.gov, Rep. Grijalva, and the @hispaniccaucus.bsky.social about the impact of DACA
Today, @FWD.us staff met with Miss Rachel as she visited congressional offices across Capitol Hill. Miss Rachel had letters for Members of Congress with children's artwork, personal stories, and a petition signed by more than 320,000 people calling for an end to family detention.
Thank you @warren.senate.gov for chatting with DACA recipients in the halls of Congress yesterday!
It’s imperative that we continue to fight for Dreamers, and we appreciate your leadership to ensure we protect them.
Our team was proud to attend the Resource Fair during the Democratic District Directors Conference! It was great to connect with District Directors from across the country and share various resources and information.
Thank you to Rep Joe Neguse for organizing the event and inviting @fwd.us!

The administration’s attacks on DACA are forcing many Dreamers to leave their jobs, leaving them financially and emotionally strained. @fwd.us President @thetoddschulte.bsky.social talked to @thelalocalorg.bsky.social about Los Angeles residents who’ve suffered from these attacks.
As the anniversary of DACA approaches, we’re grateful for the leadership of Leader @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social, Whip @whipkclark.bsky.social, Chair @repespaillat.bsky.social, @sylviagarcia.house.gov, Rep. Grijalva, and members of the @hispaniccaucus.bsky.social for standing with DACA recipients
In her letter, Miss Rachel shared the stories of children she met who were incarcerated at Dilley and urged Congress to recognize the lasting harm detention can cause and close Dilley. Every Member of Congress should hear directly from the families affected.
We know DACA recipients like Jaime and Angel make our communities stronger. They’ve grown up in the U.S. and built their lives here. This is their home. We need to pass a permanent solution that gives DACA recipients and their families certainty.
Listen to Todd Schulte, President of @fwd.us, break down the passage of yesterday's $70B funding package for ICE and CBP, and what it means for the future of immigration in America.
