I decided early that I wanted the paint scheme to look like a tarnished loyalist so lots of dark metal, Agrax and Ratling Grime to help dirty up the paint
The highlights and detailing were surprisingly finicky for such a huge model, but it also makes them pop a lot more when done
In retrospect, maybe adding a bit more red to the legs would have made the colour scheme gel a bit better, but the dirty grey looks good enough that it doesn't detract from the whole

Adding spare parts from a Knight Abominant to make the base look much more mutated was really clever IMO, it makes the corruption that much more present
