the same visibility or discussion, which can be frustrating. Not saying that this is the cause (and I'm bad at pinpointing BO morphs - I can tell your boy was piebald and some brightening gene?) I saved this image from a video once because it's so hard to find info on these.
Let's Keep Calling!
I am SO sorry - he was a gorgeous snake - and I can absolutely empathize with the loss and frustration. I can't imagine that there would have been much the vet would have been able to do all things considered - but I've been there, and it SUCKS. There are other spider-adjacent genes that don't get>
I am so sorry ;_; Ball pythons are so charming, such inquisitive little animals. My deepest sympathies - it sounds like he might have had some genetic issues that are no fault of yours, but still - it doesn't make it hurt any less.
Like, "The Orville" I think despite the billing/advertisements is more pastiche than parody - Seth MacFarlane really wanted to make his own Star Trek but had to come at it from the comedy angle to get it made, which fell away to feel more like his own Star Trek in later seasons.
Ough, I am So sorry. Sometimes those genetic issues really are impossible to know about in advance, even doing all due diligence. And it sucks so hard that he was so young, but you had him long enough to really bond with him.
I agree with you - it still feels odd to me that both loving and mean-spirited parodies are the same genre since the intent and tone is so different, but I do think Galaxy Quest firmly falls in the parody scope - especially with a few specific callbacks like "Why do we even have this room!?"
ROFL I was just about to say I certainly hope not!!
Galaxy Quest is my favorite Star Trek movie ;)
Seriously though - it's definitely a riff specifically on Star Trek, but it's done lovingly.
And oh boy was there some A+ tormenting. I'm sorry your character is a cookie.
