Perhaps there's a silver lining to the current war.
The US has been living off Hollywood-fuelled exceptionalism since WWII - "Go, go, USA", "America is Number 1", etc. - but thanks to a failed reality TV star, its citizens are now catching a glimpse of reality: the American dream is not universal.
That poor woman may have already left this earth. I hope not, but after this much time… I just hope the family is ok and that a miracle can happen. And may whoever did this face justice.
