Wilberforce has a contested reputation but I recommend the Wilberforce House Museum. I used it & other resources to do research for 'Map of a Plantation', winner of the Poetry Book Awards.

Two poems from my first collection 'Her Lost Language' have just been used in a film about Nunhead Cemetery. It's strange to think I wrote the poems years ago, and now they have a 2nd life in the world. Look forward to sharing the film here soon. 🌿
I've been waiting nearly nine months to be paid by a university that shall be nameless. There's been some movement but only because the VC is involved. I bet there are others who've waited longer.
