I think "The House that Jack Built" is a really underrated song, actually. Doesn't get enough love.
Wild to say this now, but as of 4:20AM I became an "author" or something?
I don't know how to market but "Lightless Moon and the Starfall Horror" is a quick read Sword and Sorcery adventure. And it's on Kindle! And I hope you like it if you like that sort of thing!

I drew into Urban Fantasy this time, and I really dig what I came up with. Might even revisit the world/characters again.
I'm not sure what else I can share about it until the end of next month, but fingers crossed it makes the Final Showdown.
Update: Judges not fans. :( Was pretty bummed for a day or two. Not a fan of the new ranking system. I'd rather risk 0W-3L against other stories than a rubric score. I'm in the minority.
Not all bad. Peers really seemed to enjoy it. Some suggested they'd pre-order if I turned it into a novel. :)
I can't believe this is how I found out Harambe was in the Epstein files.
I'm actually REALLY pleased with my entry for @writingbattle.bsky.social this round.
I further challenged myself (or maybe not, maybe it was luck of the draw) by using @storyenginedeck.bsky.social to make my protagonist and antagonist. And it's just *chefs kiss*
Judges will probably hate it.
Oh yeah?! Could AI do *this?!*
(comes to your house and beats you up)
