Phew - what a performance of Elijah that was at the Sheldonian Theatre in #Oxford!
We joined #OxfordPhilharmonicOrchestra and soloists Masabane Cecilia Rangwanasha, Angharad Lyddon, Belinda Gifford-Guy, Trystan Llŷr Griffiths and of course Sir Bryn Terfel.
We're not the only ones celebrating our 40th season - you may have noticed a little show called #Eastenders has also just turned 40! 🎉 Let's look back on that Christmassy episode we were in back in 2013. As you might expect, it's all carols and crying... and Carol's crying 😭

Low winter sun means lovely long shadows
Such an amazing experience to sing in the Sheldonian Theatre last night. Bryn Terfel was splendid as Elijah. We in @thechoircefc.bsky.social were giving it our all too!
In 1970 the UK and Norway were roughly equal, almost no debt, and owned all their Public Services.
Now the UK owns nothing and has £3tn of debt.
While Norway still owns everything and has the equivilant per person of £10tn.
That's how privatisation 'works'.
