I am skeptical that already approved Ebola virus vaccines and monoclonals will show promise during the ongoing outbreak of Bundibugyo virus for the simple reason that the two viruses are highly divergent (~35% AA divergence in GP).
Focus should be on BDBV-specific or "pan-Ebola" countermeasures.
