I can't even imagine what it's like to be Gooseworx rn. She signed up to produce & direct a webshow & then suddenly you're almost solely responsible for the indie animation boom as well as the highest grossing animated indie film ever.
That would get to my head so fast and hard you have no idea.

I know it's tactless to tell people to keep their problems to themselves but I simply can't do it anymore. All it has done is attract energy vampires and people who don't even appreciate it in the end 🤷 I'm not any of y'all's parents so I'm gonna stop acting like it!
It also sets me up for disappointment bc ppl who only outsource & never introspects are the ones who fall into this dynamic with me. It creates false closeness & I don't even stop to think if I even like this person (spoiler; I usually don't, I just have a savior complex).

I'm so done trying to fix people's problems. I don't even do it out of virtue, I just want them to stop overwhelming me with their issues. It creates a dynamic where I help, they keep moving the goal post, and I get increasingly resentful. I'm just gonna start telling people I don't wanna know LMAO.
I find it hilarious what Americans call small towns because they'll be like "yeah my school was only 300 students" and I'm like my man the entire community I grew up in had less than 300 people. My entire primary school, Pre-school to 6th grade, was 60 students.... My class was NINE PEOPLE 😭
