A few people campaigning / focus grouping in Makerfield have told me that even Reform supporters have brought up that Farage going against the wishes of Nowak's family made them uneasy.
So these statements are both brave and important.
There are, in my view, 25 things everyone needs to understand in light of recent events:
1) Those out in our communities last night were not protestors, but organised far right extremists.
2) Their actions align with fascist ideologies.
3) So yes: these are fascist practices on our streets.

I get the impression that some people aren't clear what this means. This is the UK state deciding to intervene directly in the healthcare of individual children, depriving them of medicine that their doctors have prescribed for their personal health & wellbeing, in defiance of global best practice.
This is nonsensical. Libraries buy huge numbers of books you wouldn't otherwise sell. They're a massive discoverability vector for authors. The reasons behind the declining author earnings are not hard to guess. People read less, have less $ to spend, +media is being consolidated by megacorporations
