Very happy to report that the black and white version of Spider-Noir is more Sin City than Logan.
It's not just desaturated, it's deliberately styled with shadows and contrast used like this was meant to be, rather than retrofitted at the eleventh.
Much to my surprise, in colour it *really* pops. I don't think there's a white wall in the whole thing and that whole 'the 30s were brown & gold' thing is joyfully ignored. Bit like seeing that Munsters set photo in colour after you're used to the B&W.
