🎵 Recommendation systems shouldn't just reinforce what we already like. they should also help us discover something new. The professor explains their approach of critiquing-based conversations: progressively recommending familiar content before introducing more diverse options over time. 🎧🔥
The talk also explored how conversational AI agents can support self-awareness and psychological well-being through music listening. Prof. Li Chen highlighted music-based reminiscence, where songs help people recall, reflect on, and better understand past experiences and emotions. 😁⚡️
