15 days ago, Rocky came in as close to death as is possible for a dog to be. It has been a battle to get him back into shape but I think you will agree that he is looking fantastic.

One week with Bumpy! Like any baby, he sleeps deeply and often – especially snuggled up to his Keeper, with a tummy full of milk. Rescued last weekend after his mother died in a territorial fight, he now has a family with us and a wild future ahead.

Bedtime for Bumpy!
He approaches his room at a sprint, then – one little whir of the ears later – flops onto his mattress. A day spent cavorting in the water is tiring work, and our little hippo is more than ready for a good night's sleep.

Meet Bumpy!
This enchanting little chap was rescued over the weekend. This was Bumpy's first night with us, snuggled next to Keeper Simon. Simon put his mattress on the ground and the tiny hippo nestled by his side, swaddled in his cherry blanket.
