I had a phase when I was stuck in life and started telling myself that I was too old to do this or that, and that I'd be (gasp) 40 by the time I was done.
But the thing is, we're all going to be 40 eventually, at least if we life that long. The only choice is what you want being 40 to look like.

I knew a dude who got his master's degree in religious studies in his eighties. People come out start dating or transitioning in their 90s. Life is wild and can be so wonderful, and as long as you're drawing breath, change is possible
