DISCLOSURE DAY works best as someone’s desperate fantasy to recreate the monoculture, made by an artist who used to define it. (The villain clearly prefers one-to-one streaming.) The ending is basically Spielberg begging us to rewatch E.T. He believes in movies more than aliens.
