Goldenrod is a prolific seeder, so if it does turn out to be one of the goldenrods, you can have a ton more filling in the space next year if you want them just by letting it go to seed! We planted some and now it handily fills in all kinds of empty spaces for us.
The tall one with long thin leaves is almost definitely an eastern North American native plant, probably a type of goldenrod or a type of aster. My guess would be goldenrod but it's hard to say for sure before it blooms without some details about the stem shape and texture.
This was extra weird because bluesky gave me the right preview, which I used to write the alt text! And it also made the vid thumbnail into lines? Just very weird.
