"Normies" vote for Democrats if they don't vote for Republicans and are thus part of the problem and not part of the solution. Normies are also not immune from comeuppance, as 9/11 demonstrated. Very few "innocent victims" in that one, if you ask me.
The sentencing of a man for child pornography is but one of dozens of cases—including charges or convictions for child sex crimes, rape, and weapons offenses—involving January 6 insurrectionists pardoned by Trump.
It’s the US and its rapacious corporatism and bloody imperialism that must end, not any particular presidential term. I get it if you’ve got children and families to provide for, or if you just want to stay safe.
I’m still working it out myself. But for humanity’s sake, we must do so much more than hold clever signs in safe, state-sanctioned parades against symptoms of a problem that most of us ignore—or worse, enable.
But if you really want an end to this 250-year nightmare—and frankly, far too few of you do—then you should find ways to take meaningful action toward that outcome, whether through words, deeds, or both.
