I think it needs to be explained to normies that buyers want to do inspection contingencies, but the housing shortage means that when there’s 10 bids for the same house and they’re all above the asking price - sellers simply pick the one that is free of inspection contingencies, so no buyers do this

I felt the same. However I grew up in a conservative Christian area and was privy to how quickly people would bin democracy if it meant "the evil doers" suffered. And any whisps of this were snuffed when I saw their reaction to Obama.
