It’s the US senate. Even in a small state like Maine you gotta have some connections and history to even launch a run let alone bust out the gate with a rollout that gets national attention.
You don’t go from zero background in state or national politics to endorsements from sitting senators having no background in politics unless you’ve been planted and it’s kinda fucking obvious.
And that’s my generous interpretation of what he is.
My non generous is he’s a fucking nazi chaos agent who doesn’t give a shit about anything other than playing the hero and latched onto a few pet causes that scruffy white dudes don’t usually latch onto and made nerdy basement lefties tingle.
