A competent empire with competent governance would not allow a vassal state to become so belligerent and would punish it. It would not allow a vessel state to endanger the imperial core or destabilize the world economy. It would not allow these things out of a sense of self-interest not altruism.
The cause of the coming depression and all of our Middle East troubles is Israel and America acquiescing to their belligerence.
