I liked lots of it, esp the views of the old Battersea Bridge. Some of the curator notes weren’t for me, and I don’t love the trend for displaying random objects the artist owned and then trying to draw very shaky lines from them to work.
So… I went to see the Whistler exhibition today. My friend really took against him in a way I’ve never seen him do - tho he DID rate the copper engravings. But he hated the portraits in a way I’m still puzzling over.
