Stan Lee managed to gobble up the lion's share of credit for creating the Marvel Universe. In doing so he largely squeezed Jack Kirby out of the picture, relegating him to mere artist rather than the co-creator he was. The Smithsonian is taking one small step towards restoring the balance.
