Can you imagine @mythicsims.bsky.social and I have been doing this story thing for 5 years and we're still in gen 2
Elian reluctantly agreed with her friend and their deal was sealed with a hug.
And while it was exciting to buy a plot of land, it was also a lot of work. Building a house took time, but luckily they had the best organizer and planner at hand for that.
Because they had a flight to catch.
While they packed up the last bit of their things Vincent couldn't help the melancholy feeling or leaving a place that had become so familiar for them.
“Are we really ready to leave this apartment? We made so many memories here, it being our first place together. We made it a home.”
“Don't get sappy on us Vince”, V warned as her own eyes began watering.
The others couldn't help getting sad either, it was hard to say goodbye even when something better awaited them.
It was like a whole chapter of their life was over.
“As emotional as this is, we really shouldn't miss our flight”, Glen reasoned and one by one they left. Until only Vincent was left staring at the blank walls that had once been filled with pictures and awards.
“Off to a new chapter I guess.”
“𝐿𝑒𝑡'𝑠 𝑚𝑎𝑘𝑒 𝑖𝑡 𝑎 𝑔𝑜𝑜𝑑 𝑜𝑛𝑒, 𝑠𝑢𝑛𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑒.”
Ada rolled her eyes but smiled, “At least not for free.”
“But I don't want your money”, she protested.
“Do it for me, okay? Whatever you want I will give you. But I sure am not going to take it for free. You said yourself that I should build something for myself, and that doesn't work with gifts."
“I bought the plot of land Ada’s house was on, and I thought I could give it back to you when you want it. As a gift.”
“Wait, you bought it!?”, Ada gasped.
She confessed, “I'm sorry, I didn't want to overstep. It felt wrong to let some stranger buy it and erase every trace of you.”
“I just thought it would be nice to give you the option to reclaim the space and build something new for yourself. Something that feels like a home.”
Ada couldn't be angry at her, not even if she wanted to be. “I appreciate that, but you know I can't accept that.”
“Why not?” Vincent yelled.
