Working through Variable Acceleration in #MathsToday (yesterday!) with year 12s. Finding out students need a bit more structure than usual so enjoying putting together things to help them work out what to do when!

Trying using tables to structure their thinking and using language of Position to Term rule as opposed to nth term (...then saying that the n stands for positioN...)

Then trying to write a series of questions that capture every skill they might need so I could work out exactly which bit they were struggling with. Also interesting conversations when they realized a lot of the answers were the same...
