I love an old tombstone, this is Elizabeth Paton’s grave from1676. Look at this head letting forth a scream. Gothic as hell. That’s one of the reasons I love Edinburgh
Edinburgh looking nice today, the castle glowering down on the old town
Seen on my walk today… Cheese and occultism, 93 Jermyn Street, London. As well as being a superb cheese shop, it was also one of the places in London where the notorious magician Aleister Crowley lived in the 1940s- 93 is of course, significant magical number in Thelema.

In the deep woods, it’s no toy. The "dumb-bull" or bullroarer whirs with a low, heavy vibration that makes blood run cold. Old folks call it "the Old Boy’s holler" - a frequency used to call the Devil’s own hounds. Spin the wood until it screams, and listen for the reply. #FaustianFriday #Folklore
