The story was told by local farmers, people up with the larks, who had witnessed the Priest and his Fae dog in years gone by. 🌞

🧵Long bare legs. A long, loose coat. A horse with a flowing mane and tail but no bridle, no stirrups. The rider's face turned toward the doctor but he could make out no features. In his right hand, raised above his head, the rider brandished something threatening. Then he was gone. 🧵👇

On the way home she would stop at The Swan for a final refreshment, sharing her ale with her donkeys using the same jug! 🫏🍺😊
