"I'm so sorry for the confusion, edge. i didn't mean to take you all the way out here for nothing," the pinkette mumbled, already feeling guilty and possibly making things worse with her blunder.
"so they couldn't have gotten far, right? where did you last have contact with them?"
โ
โช Edge didnโt seem offended, giving her an explanation instead. โซ
ใ Sparks arenโt what you mentioned minutes ago. They are small, innocent creatures that like to venture outside of worlds. They hold a lot of power.
I look over โem and make sure they donโt fall into the wrong hands again. ใ

"oh -- oh /jeez/ i'm so sorry about that. i'm honestly not sure what the little twinkle is that appears sometimes around station square and mystic ruins, but i was hoping it would be what you were looking for," the shocked and dismayed pinkette mumbled.
โ
โช Edge didnโt respond for now, only following her guidance to the exit of the train car. Once her feet crossed the threshold, thatโs when she spoke, giving Amy unwavering eye contact.
Her response was brief, but it was clarifying. โซ
ใ It isnโt. ใ
โ

"let's go see what's up. the little twinkle should be near the bottom of the station. . . . hopefully that's what you're looking for," amy broke the silence again, leading edge from the train car once it came to a stop and began letting passengers off.
โ
โช Huhโฆa Jungle, Station Square must be surrounded by entirely different and varied biomes.
Though, it was nothing new to her. After all, she comes from the Mushroom Kingdom, sheโs seen plenty of interesting sights. โซ
โ
โ ๐ฐ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฌ.โ
it wasn't a long ride. amy leaned forward and trained her optics on the horizon when more greenery became visible. trees dotted here and there in the distance until it became a proper jungle. the overhead PA system announced they were arriving shortly.
"almost there," amy mumbled.
โ
โช Eventually, her gaze also shifted over towards the window. Because she was very much new to this area, she was taking in the details of her surroundings.
The almost complete silence aboard the train was able to leave her alone in her thoughts and concern hidden behind nonchalance. โซ
โ

the pinkette remained silent. her green optics were pointed out the train window, watching everything passing with interest despite the sights being familiar. the silence stretched on; only a few people in the train car were speaking in hushed tones. amy kept her hands in her lap.
โ
โช Perhaps thatโs one thing they have in common! Edge cares little about the opinions of others and wouldnโt dare waste her energy on what they thought of her.
Settling herself beside Amy, crossing her arms and resting one leg upon the other, gaze forward and focused. Sheโs naturally reserved,

when the doors of the train slid open, the pinkette glanced at the rabbid and entered with the other passengers. promptly sitting down in a seat near the middle, people streamed by her and visibly avoided the seat next to her; so edge could sit there if she wanted.

โ
โช Thatโs great on her part! Edge only speaks when absolutely necessary, other than that, she prefers not to speak and forcing anything out of her would only harden the warrior further than she already was. But she does listen, thatโs something she happens to be great at.
Edge followed her

"it looks like the next train will be arriving within the next ten minutes on the first platform. they have /really/ improved the station and added more destinations lately," amy mused, not really expecting an answer from edge; which was fine.
the pinkette wasn't one to force communication.

โ
โช โMaybeโโฆ that immediately let her know what type of world this was, the fact that people barely even stopped for pedestrians gave it away as well. Kindness was simply a very rare option here, and she barely saw any besides Amyโs.
By the time she reached the pavement, she was already halfway

amy, after reaching the pavement to the train station, halted abruptly to wait for edge to follow. once edge was safely across the street, amy ascended the stairs and pushed open the doors to the station.
"they have a time table above the reception desk. and also placed around."
