I figured I’d go for a walk after work, even though it was pretty windy. About a block from home, a strong gust blew through and a huge branch crashed to the ground just a few feet away from me. That was all the convincing I needed—I turned around and headed straight back home.
To work in the yard or go for a walk. That is the question I don’t want to answer.

Ever have a moment where you type a word and it looks crazy wrong? “twelve” is that word for me today. Also I once completely forgot how to spell “who” once while filling out paperwork for a job at the interview. This was before cellphones so I couldn’t even look it up. Fun times!!
Having a fun time with my garden this year. Started some seeds inside and then also sowed some right into the ground. The plants I started inside are looking great but the seeds in the ground haven’t sprouted yet. My goal is to feed my tortoises only what I grow from my garden.
