I'm part way through a project to take photos of 100 different bird species in 2026. So far I am up to 77.Next year it will be 100 "good" photos of birds. For you photo experts some of these are merely record shots 😂 (you may need a fb account to see them all....soz) www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...
Just to give him the true credit @profcoe.bsky.social
the biography "Boris in Number 10" comes to much the same conclusion, though to be fair, anyone who knew him and how he worked in the past knew it would be like that before he became PM
No but you measure it on the scale of how long it takes sub-atomic particles to decay,
In Barnsley (and probably elsewhere it's just I've seen the photo record for here) around the turn of the 19th-20th century, men were empolyed to go round the town rounding up children that hadn't gone to Sunday School. Non-attendance at Church was also noted for those in service too.
I am convinced that the pine martens in NT Crom are watching the #Springwatch live feeds. Turn them off now!! Save our baby birds!!!!
In our family the speedboats at Bridlington are iconic. Their new sign is perfect. I do hope ash scattering happens at speed.
Catching up on last night's (Monday's) #Springwatch. Lots of swearing going on and finger gestures directed towads Lolo who is on a sunlit boat trip to Bempton only days after our own trip was cancelled due to bad weather. Jammy git gets to see dolphins too.

If you want some of this as slides for a presentation, here is Coe's talk as pdf 5191137.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/519113...
Great thread. I am sure you will both be aware of this work but some good background reading around this (possibly only direct your best trainees to the Coe stuff) is:
