Routine dentist appointment in half an hour and the only reason I'm going is because if I cancel with <24h notice they will Cast Me Out (TM) from the NHS patient list and make me Pay Like a Bitch (C) as a private patient until I die, or am too poor to pay, whichever comes first.
As a country we've shut down community centres, youth clubs and recreational spaces for young people.
We're now cutting off their online spaces.
1) It won't work. They'll just make their own new spaces online (like they do in real life)
2) We're likely to do more harm that good for the majority.
Clean bill of health from the dentist, which was made only slightly awkward when I bumped into the hygienist in the sweeties isle of the local Mozzers straight afterwards.
