Are we willing to invest just five cents per person per year to maintain one of the world’s most important climate monitoring systems? That provides crucial information about a potentially existential risk for Europe?
Thank you. This is extremely helpful.
This is one of the major differences between US and UK at present. In UK, it's still very much accepted across churches - conservative evangelical to liberal - that climate change is real and that Christians have an obligation to address it as part of our efforts to love God and neighbour.
The actions of one person must never be used to stigmatise an entire community. Collective blame only creates further division harm.
We stand with Belfast City of Sanctuary in condemning all violence, racism, hatred and attempts to exploit tragic events to spread fear and division.
