Some weeks ago, I completed a Barnes&Noble, Great American Novels puzzle and decided to read the ones I hadn't.
Just finished this one.
A true classic, feels as timely today as when it was written over 25 years ago. She began as a poet and it shows-each "chapter" is precise and vivid.

OTC flea and tick meds 1) don't work due to oversaturation, and 2) will likely cause severe - sometimes irreparable - harm to your pet.
And cats are especially sensitive.
Pyrethrin is TOXIC to cats. And crap companies like Hertz use it in EVERYTHING.
