True of many systems that need to be resilient. Have been trying to push Wikipedians away from knee-jerk "step 0: ask WMF to pay for it" as a solution to many infrastructure problems in part for this reason.

Such a crucial point from Omo Oaiya re: repository infrastructure and governance: low cost is a design constraint that produces better, more resilient infrastructure. Not hostage to project/ funder cycles. We need to decentralize & federate as soon as possible.
