Coupled with low snowpack, the passage of H.R. 655 could cause the Dog River to run dry. This would have dire consequences for fish and wildlife, as well as farmers in the Gorge whose irrigation districts are fed by the Dog River. Call your senators and tell them to OPPOSE HR 655!

Despite the city’s claims that Google played no role in this bill, Google’s data centers are increasing pressure on the city’s water supply. And despite Bentz's claim that he consulted with the Forest Service, Mt. Hood staff were not aware of the bill before Bark brought it to their attention.
