There's a grace in it, a zen to making other people shine. Is this what publishers feel all the time? Just curious.
And is a "yes, I will help but just not right now. Gimme a couple months and we'll keep talking, please and thank you", a good respectful answer?
I need to get better artistically, and I definitely am not ready to slow down my pacing on my own stuff just yet. Plus I've been burnt by collaborative work before so I wanna approach it slow.
... But damn it's tempting. Like maybe I could help bring out the best in her work?

Had someone ask me today to help their mum make her first zine. They'd chuck me a few bucks for the effort of course...
I'm kinda tempted but also want to get to more stable place with my day job first, maybe get further with a main non-zine project (like "Haibun to Hell"), and more experience...
