It strikes me that the poster here is conflating the suffering of fictional characters with their own in reading the fate of those characters, which is a sign the fiction is probably doing its job
I worked in grocery for a number of years and sometimes I still think about how every Monday I'd have to hear "Monday, Monday" by The Mamas & The Papas and every Tuesday afternoon, "Tuesday Afternoon" by The Moody Blues and to this day I cannot but despise both songs
