I need to be an Angry Person in a Local Newspaper about this issue but there aren’t many local papers left here.

Well that was desperately needed. I haven’t been for years but it was awful bc of the cars last time I was there.
That is disturbing…
I’m actually not upset about the collapse, these things are a absolute blight-permanently parked on streets all year taking up public space for private storage. They block sight lines creating safety issues for everyone, as well as just being generally an eyesore.
Correct, but unless they are over *7.5m* (which is enormous) they can remain permanently parked pretty much anywhere for as long as they like where I live. I’ve have a friend whose neighbours have long term parked theirs in front of her house, which can only be described as antisocial behaviour.
That’s a pretty paltry amount of $…
TBF all 5 of us in the house share different clothing items to varying degrees and thrift store shopping is now more common than buying new.
I wish the words “school run” and the related “play date” weren’t actually a thing. ☹️
There are *hundreds* permanently parked on streets within walking distance of me. They are an absolute disgrace of governmental failure. The more unusual thing is to see one parked in a drive instead of on the road.

Yes I see the sneaky “enrolment/rostering/membership fees” etc that places charge aren’t part of it so that’s at least part of why the number is so low.
