I don't live in the UK, but I think — the world over — people are struck by the fact that their liberal(ish) governments refuse to even stand up for themselves. Just cowering before the bullies instead of exposing them for the weak and insecure men they are.

a) she's been having a years-long breakdown in public b) people having breakdowns are not all hate-mongering bigots as a result and that is still on her c) I hope she gets the help she very obviously needs, which includes repentance.

I read the article and it is deeply unserious claptrap that takes the reasoning behind callais seriously, handwaves away the extent to which this court is a partisan republican machine bent on entrenching Trump as a god-king, and generally refuses to engage with our current legal reality

the best "this you" i have ever done in my life is when found out that a MAGA guy who was arguing with me on Twitter had done a hit-and-run on a construction worker in Costa Rica and then fled to the Phillipines. i posted his manslaughter arrest warrant. all these posts lost, like tears in rain.
